Today we watched Guns Germs and Steel!!!!! And we took notes.... :'( about random people and countries.
• First granary - a place where grain is collected and stored.
• Started growing their own grain, because of a drought and they found out they could grow their own!
• Nomads are people who wander around.
• First know village where people started becoming civilized (they started living in villages/towns) 9500 B.C.
• They favored wheat and barley and corn
• They were trying to find out which wheat's were profitable, they were domesticating plants
• They tried to stay near water, they lived in the basin between the tigris and euphrates river
• What ever was growing where you lived that's what you ate and that's it.
• People may eat giant spiders for a replacement for protein
• Geographic luck to where you live depends on what you eat
• Humans are starting to domesticate animals
• After the stubble the goats could eat left over grain
• Goats and the sheep were the first domesticated animals
• Animals are the most powerful than a machine before the machine was invented
• Number of domesticated animals is 14
